I would like to discuss on food prices in Pendeta Za’ba College. The price of foods is relatively more expensive than other colleges. This serves a problem to poor students who could barely survive on monthly allowances from their parents or from PTPTL loan. For example, ‘fried maggie noodle’ costs RM5.00 and ‘nasi campur’ has no fixed price. Compared to other colleges, ‘fried maggie noodle’ only cost RM3.50 only. Especially Ungku Omar College.
This issue could be solved in many ways. Firstly, college authority must take action against cafeteria proprietor. Secondly, food prices should be standard. Thirdly, all students should be vigilant on this issue by reporting any malpractise with regards to food prices in their college's cafetaria.

In my opinion,the content of this passage is the most appropriate with it's title "expensive".I feel that it is unfair for student who live in Pendeta Za'ba College because they need to pay more for the food that other college can buy at a lower price.Beside that,the solutions that have been mentioned are also very useful and acceptable.

First of all, eventhough I am not Pendeta Za’ba residents but I can put myself on their situation since we are same as Ukm student.As a university student, we must have good planning on our budget.Most of us are depending on loans such as ptptn and others.Eventhough we have loans, we still need to spend money for other necessary things for example to pay the fees.Each semester we have to pay for the faculty and the college fees.In addition,only Pendeta Za’ba n Keris Mas have higher college fees compared to other college.In Keris Mas,the food price is reasonable.We still can have a plate of rice,vegetables n chicken as lower as Rm 3.50.So,we do not have problem with the price.But,in Pendeta Za’ba college, just a plate of fried Maggie noodle cost about Rm 5.00 is totally unreasonable.This will add more burden to the residents.To overcome these problem, what the authority should do is set a fixed price for food on every college and all cafeteria proprietor must sell food based on the price that were given.
I am agree with Nurul Anisha's opinion.Rm5.00 per plate for only fried Maggi noodles,really unreasonable!Then how about for the rest of the food?Is it the same price or expensive than that?It is really unfair for the residents in Pendeta Za'ba,because they also need to pay more for their accomodation compare with myself. The administration of the college really has to take seriously in this case.The solutions that had mentioned by 2 persons at above really very useful and also acceptable.And maybe can write a complain letter.

i absolutely agree with all of my friend opinion. This is unfair for student who living in Pendeta Za'ba College because its show huge different price rather than other college. It is will serves problems for student who came from poor background. They have to depend on monthly allowances from parents that also won't be enough by the end of the month. The solution that have been suggested is very useful and acceptable.
Salam. I totally agree with all of them opinion. Ofcourse RM 5.00 for a plate of fried maggie noodle is so expensive. If we go to restaurant out from UKM, a plate of maggie noodle is still RM 3.50 like another college in UKM except Za'ba. Maybe they must have to pay expensive rental. Before this, my college also give an expensive price for students. Then, we make a complain to administration. So, they had pick a level price to all of food at cafeteria.
for nurul hanisah..its true.the burden not to UKM students that no pendeta zaba college(KPZ). but you all must to put yourself to student that stay in pendeta zaba college. many student in pendeta zab college want to transfer to other college. but UKM authorities has put they in that college.
my opinion,UKM authorities must to take action to KPZ authorities.
In my opinion, the price of fried maggie noodle costs RM5.00 is unreasonable because the food price in other college are cheap and reasonable than Pendeta Za'ba College. This situation are not fair for the student staying in Pendeta Za'ba College. They must pay the high price to take food where as other student only pay a cheap price for any kind of food. My suggestion is the UKM authority party must take an effective action to solve this problem.
