I would like to discuss about the quantity of food served for lunch in Keris Mas College. Lunch is always served from 11.00 a.m. and normally will finished at 1.30 p.m. Students who return to college after 2.00 p.m. will find themselves without food to eat in the cafeteria. As for me, I always find myself in this situation because most of my classes end after 2.00pm. Therefore I have to skip my lunch and go hungry every day before dinner.

I hope that the college authority should take action to address this matter
I think this problem may not caused by the quantity of the food but the lunch time management of the college's cafeteria. The cafeteria need to prolong their lunch time, for instance, till 2:30pm.Throughout this way can ensure that all students will not suffer in hunger. The cafeteria's workers need to be more concerned about the students' welfare. From:

As I am also from Keris Mas College I totally understand with this situation.Keris Mas is one of the largest college in Ukm.We have around 2000 students stayed in Keris Mas.Most of Keris Mas dweller prefer to eat at the cafeteria because it will be more easier for us rather than went out for lunch.I agree with the writer that the quantity of food that were serve during lunch were not enough.Perhaps if there is food left, the food totally look like left-over food and looking at that kind of food will make us loose our appetite to eat. Everyday, we have to rush for the food at the cafeteria otherwise we have to find other alternative food such as bread or biscuit which totally not enough for us.I did ask the worker why there is lack of dishes that were serve to us,and the answer was they did not have enough chef to prepare more food. So,as a solution to this problem I suggested that the number of chef should be increased so that there are more dishes can be prepared.
Is it only happened in lunch time?how about the breakfast and dinner?i think that the cafeteria runner assumed that most of the residents in Keris Mas College are taking their lunch in somewhere else just like in 'Pusanika',that is why they just cut off the quantity of food.As my suggestion,i think that residents of Keris Mas College should reflect all of ur problems to ur peolpe in charge with this just like 'JAKSA Kebajikan',or maybe u can also try to write a complain letter to the administration department in ur college.

From my point of view, i think this problem cause by cafeteria management where they have to be alert what time usually student's will having their meal at cafe. As myself staying in Ibrahim Yakoob College, they will served food started from morning until night 10.00pm. This makes student's more easier where they just can having the meal in cafeteria and they no need to rush because its always served. Besides that, our college got fried dishes on afternoon. So i think, student's must report to their college management that they have to change the time follow by student's decision.
Salam. Firstly I feel so shock when the writer mention that Keris Mas Cafeteria only have a cook around 11.00 a.m. until 1.30 p.m. How about another time? Moreover, there are a lot of students stay at that college. So, the administration must know to care student's welafare. We had pay a lot for welfare and facilities at college. It's very unfair if the administration can't add chef.
I would like to share some information about the quantity of food in my college is Keris Mas College. For the student who had night class, they must eat first before go to the class. This is because if they did not eat early, when they are back from the class maybe there is no food. It is shown that there is the problem with quantity of food especially in midnight. To solve this problem, the cooker must increas the quantity of food and give variety of food to the student.
